Galgorm Weddings

Galgorm Spa & Golf Resort is simply Northern Ireland’s premier wedding venue! I have been one of their trusted and recommended suppliers now for over a decade and I’m extremely proud to be associated with them 🙂 !

The resort has three stunning wedding suites, The Great Hall, The Renaissance & The Four Seasons plus two ceremony rooms, the Ghost House and the always popular Phantom House. Capturing wedding photography here is a dream with unparalleled views and ‘The Galgorm’ is the perfect location to fit nearly anyone’s tastes.

The images above are a selection of my candid, contemporary, relaxed and beautifully dramatic signature fine art wedding photography. It’s simply down to you to tell me what style you’d prefer… most couples prefer a mix?

I capture probably around 40 weddings per year at Galgorm and I can honestly say that I never get bored of this wedding venue. You've got the river Maine for perfect picture backdrops, the iconic swing seat, Galgorm's famous heron who sits by the river, the most beautiful chandelier garden, various arches to be photographed at, sweeping lawns on acres of grounds, serenity spa steps with stunning century-old cypress trees mirroring it. Every season there is something different happening and unique to Galgorm Weddings. For example, many couples book their wedding at Galgorm in late May for the stunning blooms of the giant rhododendron or maybe you would choose February hoping that there will be snow on the stunning grounds.

If you book your wedding at Galgorm Spa & Golf Resort you will honestly have the most stunning sublime wedding photography backdrops. At Galgorm you have three wedding venue options. The first is the Great Hall for your wedding. Second and probably most popular is the modern and sumptuous Renaissance Suite with picture-perfect views of the waterfall at galgorm. Third but by no means, the least important is the Four Season Suite, and is perfect for a smaller wedding up to 100 guests. Then you have a choice of two ceremony rooms, The ever popular 'Phantom House' which was an old turbine mill and now hosts civil partnerships, marriages, blessings and humanist ceremonies. The other is the 'Ghost House' and it would be in my opinion suited to a more modern bride and groom or couple. You could almost say it has a Scandinavian style to it with its airy light structure. Something new and possibly a little different is having your ceremony outdoors in a fairytale setting in lush greenery beside the banks of the river maine.
