Kris captures around 40 weddings per year at Galgorm. He can honestly say that he never gets bored with this amazing wedding venue, as can be seen above. You’ve got the River Maine for perfect picture backdrops, the iconic swing seat. Galgorm’s famous heron who sits by the river, and the most beautiful chandelier garden. There are various arches to be captured at, and sweeping lawns over 163 acres of grounds. The Serenity Spa steps with stunning century-old cypress trees mirroring it at each side.
Every season has something different occurring at Galgorm Weddings. For example, many couples book their wedding at Galgorm in late May, for the stunning blooms of the giant rhododendron. Or maybe you would choose February, hoping that there will be snow on the stunning grounds. In a word, this place is magical!

Booking your wedding at Galgorm Resort & Spa, you will undeniably have the most stunning, sublime wedding photography backdrop. For example, you have three venue options. The first is the Great Hall for your wedding. Second and probably most popular is the sumptuous Renaissance Suite with picture-perfect views of the waterfall. Third, but by no means the least important, is the Four Seasons, perfect for weddings up to 100 guests. The resort has a choice of two ceremony rooms. The ever-popular ‘Phantom House’, originally an old turbine mill, now hosts civil partnerships, marriages, blessings and humanist ceremonies. The other is the ‘Ghost House, and it would be suited to a more modern couple. Something new and a little different is having your ceremony outdoors. Set in a fairytale setting in lush greenery beside the banks of the luxurious River Maine.
